Diverse performances every year

Throughout the years, the Arts Council has lived up to its mission in a number of ways. Brownsvillians have enjoyed diverse performances ranging from the Memphis and Nashville Chamber orchestras, Ballet Memphis, “A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline,” Cumberland County Playhouse and Springer Theatre’s productions. The Arts Council has not only brought quality entertainment to town over the years, but it has helped cultivate local talent as well.

One needs only to look at the impressive list of plays presented at College Hill, all featuring local actors and area directors, to fully appreciate the broad range of talent and community spirit here. Such favorites as “Annie”, “Broadway Reviews I & II”, “A Brownsville Homecoming” are just a few of the many productions enjoyed by Brownsville through the Arts Council’s efforts.
